In this video, Lila, Mathieu and Mickaël explain their profession to us.

The turner is a professional in the industrial sector. They make threads, bores and cylindrical, conical or prismatic parts according to drawings or technical files. The turner uses conventional or numerically controlled machine tools. Within the Defontaine Group, and more specifically in our video, the turners interviewed are responsible for producing parts for the automotive and aerospace sectors. They must have skills in reading blueprints, using measuring tools and programming digital machines.
