Rollix will supply the slewing bearing for GT Wings‘ first AirWing installation on the Carisbrooke vessel. This massive bearing is a crucial component, enabling the AirWing to turn and harness wind power efficiently, leading the propulsion and sustainability revolution in commercial shipping!
The slewing ring supplied is close to 2 meters in diameter, with internal gear. This type of slewing ring is specially designed for WAPS (Wind Assisted Propulsion Systems) applications.
